About Me

I am Mrs. Merryman. I grew up in Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Spanish Teaching and English as a Second Language. I moved internationally after graduation to teach in Venezuela, Bolivia, and Germany for many years. While abroad, I received my Master’s degree in Special Education. I am married to my husband, Christian, who is from Bolivia and we have three beautiful children. I love teaching middle school. Outside of school, I love running, hiking, rock climbing, skiing - anything outdoors!
